Hi, I'm James.

I believe that everyone is an artist and to actualize our creative dharma is our calling on Earth. This could mean a book, a business, or a unique voice on social media. Being an artist takes many forms.

My journey has taken me from being a starving artist to a Madison Avenue brand strategist to a viral content creator to a global speaker and published author.

As a certified meditation instructor, my approach blends creativity, mindfulness, purpose, and strategy to help creatives and brands embody and express their higher calling.

I've published 3 books and my writing has been featured in Forbes, HuffPost, Adweek, Yogi Times, and several literary journals.

A fan of nature, music, basketball, and literature, I currently live in Austin, TX where I host open mics.

Instructions Before Visiting Earth

In late 2025, I wrote a little poem. After posting it on Instagram, it took on a life of its own, being read and watched by over 100 million people and translated into several languages.

The full poetry collection will be released by Andrews McMeel in May 2027.

The Art of Social Media

I see social media as a digital diary and art gallery. Here are some of my recent memes and short-form writing.

Be the glitch you want to see in the matrix
In an age of uncertainty, there is nothing left to be except an artist
It's very sexy of you to take off the heavy armor
My toxic trait is that I'm an actual alien
Creativity is alchemy that transmutes darkness into light
God give me the grace to laugh in ironic amusement during my existential crisis
My favorite life hack is trusting God more than my intrusive thoughts
Just took a DNA test and it turns out I'm a figment of God's imagination
I'm in the era where I'm trusting the universe to guide me
